I Got Shoes How Do I Break In My Pointe Shoes?

How do i break in my pointe shoes? - i got shoes

Hii, I did ballet for 12 years and now it's my turn to go on (: Im so excited!
They told me to find shoes for Christmas and "break", but I'm not really sure what I should do, they are so beautiful that I do not want to ruin them! I was told that the removal of timber in the middle? ! good idea?
